Following are the steps required to provision the InnoMedia MTA6328-2Re Device for use with the Nuvio Network

It is required that you complete the Sunrocket Conversion instructions found at http://www.nuvio.com/sunrocket/conversion.html. and be able to access the Nuvio User Portal at https://sr.nuvio.com/html/ before continuing with this document.

This document assumes that your computer is connected into the Phone Adapter on the Green LAN Port and that your internal IP Address begins with 192.168.251.x.

During this process your Gizmo will be reset to factory default values and will be rebooted twice resulting in temporary loss of internet connectivity.
|

If you are using DSL you may need to have access to your PPPoe settings.
|

Resetting Gizmo to Factory Defaults |
|
If you already have the admin password you may skip this section. |
| 1.) |
Open a new browser window and navigate to http://192.168.251.1/, enter "user" as the username and "welcome" as the password. |
|

| 2.) |
The main configuration screen will now be displayed. |
|
 |
|
|
| 3.) |
Using the same browser window, navigate to http://192.168.251.1/restore2.ssi. |
|
After approximately 15 seconds you should see a notification that the "Device is restoring to factory default values..." |
|
If you are not returned to the main configuration screen after another minute then manually reboot the device by removing power cord. |
|
Close the web browser you were using. |

Configuring Your Gizmo for Nuvio |

After the device has restarted, open a new browser window and navigate to http://192.168.251.1/Voice_adminPage.htm, enter "admin" as the username and "slapshot" as the password. |

The main configuration screen will now be displayed. |

From the left menu select "VoIP" and then "SIP Proxy". |
|

Set "SIP Proxy:" to "byod.sip.nuvio.net". |
|
Uncheck "Use Outbound Proxy". |
|
Set "Registration Expiration Time (sec.):" to "120". |
|
Set "Preferred CODECs List:" to "G729A/8000" and "PCMU/8000" in that order. |

Select the "Save" button. |

From the left menu select "VoIP" and then "User Account". |
|

Open a new browser window and navigate to http://sr.nuvio.com/, enter username and password you received in your Welcome E-mail. |

Select the "Devices" tab to learn your SIP Username and Password. |

Copy and paste these into a text file for use in the next step. |

Set "User ID", "User Name", and "Authentication ID" to the Username copied from the Customer Portal. |

Set "User Password" and "Confirm Password" to the Password copied from the Customer Portal. |

Set "Use Hot Phone Number:" and "Enable T38 Fax:" to "No". |

Select the "Save" button. |

From the left menu select "IP Network" and then "Provisioning Settings". |

Uncheck "Enable Provisioning:". |
|
Clear the value from "Server Name:". |
|
Select the "Save & Reboot" button. |
|

Select the "OK" button. |
|
 |
|
|

The device will now reboot. |

The device is now provisioned to utilize your phone service from Nuvio. |

Verifying Your Gizmo Registration |

Open a new browser window and navigate to http://192.168.251.1/, enter "user" as the username and "welcome" as the password. |

>From the left menu select "Information" and then "Register Status". |

Line 1 will now be registered. |
