SunRocket Conversion Instructions

IMPORANT INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING FORMER SUNROCKET CUSTOMERS

Nuvio Corporation has attempted to automate the process for former SunRocket customers to signup for service with Nuvio and transfer their existing phone numbers. Much of our procedures and pricing are automated and not specialized for doing mass number porting. Thus, there are some important things to understand. This document supercedes any automated email that you may receive from Nuvio after signing up. Also, pricing for former SunRocket customers is detailed in this document and is not reflected correctly on the sign up page. IN THE CASE OF CONFLICTS BETWEEN THIS DOCUMENT AND ANY AUTOMATED EMAILS OR PRICING, THIS DOCUMENT SHOULD BE USED.

Note: If you have a Linksys SPA-2102, please try to unlock the device using these instructions before signing up for Nuvio service. A small number of customers are reporting difficulty unlocking the Linksys SPA-2102. This is likely due to TeleBlend, in a effort to retain a portion of the SunRocket Customer base having likely reconfigured passwords on the Linksys SPA-2102. Nuvio is currently working on a solution for this issue. Please check this page for updates.

Please follow the following steps:

  1. Once you have read these steps click the red sign up button at the bottom of the page.
  2. Select the SafeLanding Voice Signup link located on the top left side of the screen or the lower right side of the screen.
  3. Select either the Yearly or the Monthly unlimited plan. The yearly plan is $199.00 plus a one time $9.99 activation fee,  $9.95 number port fee and $11.88 E911 service fee. The monthly plan is $24.99 per month. There is no activation fee or number port fee. There are however monthly fees of $0.99 E911, $1.50 number fee and a percentage based compliance fee.
  4. On the next screen you will be assigned a temporary phone number. This number can be changed if you are porting a number or wish to have a new number. Directions for this can be found later in this document.
  5. Continue through the process and validate your address or if you live outside of the United States click the link saying you intend to use the service abroad.
  6. Agree to the terms on the next page by checking the box at the bottom of the page and continue.
  7. Fill in your user information. Make sure you give us an alternate phone number so we can contact you.
  8. Fill in your billing information.
  9. Review, confirm and create your account.

  10. You have now successfully signed up for Nuvio VoIP service. There are 2 additional steps remaining before you are able to make and receive calls.

  11. Using the username and password you created during the signup process, login to your portal at https://sr.nuvio.com/html/. From your main dashboard page within the portal, you will see a section congratulating you on signing up for Nuvio VoIP service. Follow the "Click Here" link to add your SunRocket device to your Nuvio account and you will be guided through adding your device to your new Nuvio account. After completing this process and adding your SunRocket device to your Nuvio account, you will be given a link with instructions on how to unlock your SunRocket device and configure it to work on Nuvio's network.
  12. After adding and unlocking your device, your device should again be active and able to make and receive calls!

IF YOU PLAN ON PORTING A SUNROCKET PHONE NUMBER TO NUVIO:

After you signup for service and have been assigned a temporary number, please send an email to srlnp@nuvio.com and include the following information:

  1. Name and address
  2. Nuvio assigned Telephone Number
  3. SunRocket Number you wish to port
  4. Alternate contact information, such as a cell phone number

 

DURING THE SIGNUP PROCESS PLEASE BE SURE TO LIST AN ALTERNATE PHONE NUMBER SUCH AS A CELL PHONE OR SECOND LINE THAT IS NOT POWERED BY SUNROCKET.  WE WILL NEED THIS TO REACH YOU TO ASSIST WITH PROVISIONING IN THE EVENT OF ANY PROBLEMS.
